Hello! Thank you for being here.

 

I'm here to tell you a little about myself: I was born in 1981 and I've learned to understand life as a journey made up of good phases, marked by changes and decisions that have shaped a very good path. Each less than positive experience is seen as an obstacle overcome that only gives more consistency to life.

 

I graduated in Education and studied at three different colleges: Évora, Portalegre and Porto. I traveled around Portugal and got to know very different social realities. I was and will always be passionate about children and their emotional and intellectual abilities.

 

Since I've been living in Porto, surrounded by art, the world has become a different place for me. Fashion is what fascinates me the most. I graduated in Fashion Design, with distinction, at the Lisbon School of Design.

 

I was awarded at the Portuguese Fashion News 2021 with the creation of an Androgenic coordinated outfit that paraded at Fashion Week Viseu, having been appreciated and evaluated by a distinguished jury: @ines.torcato , @ac_alfaiates , @surtellosa.oficial , Eng. António Cunha - Orfama and @celsuscouture. Exhibited at the 59th Modtíssimo Edition , the project was recognized as a Portuguese fashion trend in the international magazine ReveriePage.

 

 

I participated in the 5th Edition of the Ideas and Creativity Competition, by the Municipality of Coruche, the leading entity of the Collective Efficiency Strategy (EEC) PROVERE Montado de Sobro e Cortiça. The collection created in cork – Shine in Earth Glow – was recognized by the jury and distinguished for the quality of its design. This project resulted in the production of a video, made in the heart of Montado de Sobro in Coruche, and the collection's fashion show at Coruche Fashion Cork – FICOR 2022 .

 

 

In partnership with RDD textiles , Conscious Fabric Makers and Associação Seletiva Moda , I was challenged to create a capsule collection in organic cotton and invited to exhibit at the New Talents Forum of the 61st Modtíssimo Edition , thus Slowly Fast was born, which I am making available today, here in our store.

 

After a long journey of self-reflection and knowledge in the area of ​​design and flat modeling, the responsibility of making a difference along this path is born.

 

Joy, creativity, focus, resilience, passion for what I do and honesty are some values ​​that define me and with which I challenge you to understand the birth of BOBINE mariasalgueiro.
